010/365: Major Purchase Bought a Compaq Presario CQ40-416AU yesterday. I actually wanted the MSI because it has a 12” netbook but when I got to AccentMicro the only available netbook they had from MSI were all 10”. So I had to settle for a full blown laptop instead. My dad also bought the same laptop :P We bought it from the same store and we got the following as freebies: - 2 Sun Prepaid Broadband (HP & Sun tie up) - 1 4GB Flash Drive - 1 Wireless Gaming Mouse - Free upgrade of 1GB RAM for each laptop The downside of having this laptop is that its not Windows XP ready. There’s some special/techie thing that needs to be done for it to be able to handle Windows XP. For now, I’m running on Ubuntu but hopefully by this week I’d be able to have it working on Windows XP :D
